Jason Kuok is the Founder and Managing Director of Supernova Land, a Hong Kong-headquartered boutique real estate development firm dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed, harmonious spaces that elevate meaningful living in exceptional locations.
With over 20 years of distinguished experience spanning all major facets of real estate development—including hospitality, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects—Jason held key development roles for 12 years at Kerry Properties and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. There, he contributed to iconic global properties while leading operations and strategic repositioning for Shangri-La hotels across major cities in Southeast Asia and Australia.
His notable portfolio includes landmark Shangri-La Hotels in Tokyo, Paris, Maldives, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Hangzhou, and Jakarta, as well as prominent Kerry Properties mixed-use and commercial developments in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tianjin.
In 2018, Jason founded Supernova Land to pursue a vision of intentional, design-led development that seamlessly integrates architecture, nature, and lifestyle. Under his leadership, the company launched the award-winning Koa Niseko brand—an exclusive collection of 24 luxury turnkey properties (villas, super villas, and townhouses) in Upper Higashiyama, Niseko, Hokkaido. Recognised as Best Residential Development in Japan by the Asia Pacific Property Awards, Koa Niseko embodies the principles of slow living and hygge, blending traditional Japanese farmhouse aesthetics with Scandinavian-inspired craftsmanship.
Jason also spearheaded the concept-to-building-approval development of a 120-key luxury onsen hotel on a 15,000 sqm site in upper Kitanomine, Furano, Hokkaido—a sophisticated project that was successfully divested to a major Japanese corporation.
